Winter in the Red Lodge, Montana Area

At 5,555 feet, Red Lodge brings you Red Lodge Mountain Ski Resort offering some of the best skiing in the Rockies. With 1,600 acres of ski able terrain, Red Lodge Mountain has skiing available for all levels. In addition to downhill and cross-country skiing, snow boarding, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling in the winter.

Excellent downhill skiing is enjoyed November through April on Red Lodge Mountain. Nordic skiers can enjoy private, groomed trails or those in the forest.

Try the National Finals Ski-Joring Finals held the second weekend of March. This event combines horsemanship and skiing technique for a truly spectacular sport.
